The Hellenic Development Bank (HDB) pioneers with the launch of the digital community “InnoAgora”, powered by HDB, hosted on the internationally renowned EuroQuity platform of the French Development Bank, Bpifrance. For the first time in the Greek market, a public institution participates in EuroQuity with the objective of creating a professional and specialized network of investors and entrepreneurs.

Specifically, InnoAgora is a dynamic digital community that supports the international growth of businesses and provides tangible networking opportunities, creating communication channels with investors and strategic partners. As an online matchmaking and connectivity platform, it enables three distinct categories of participants to connect and pursue investment agreements and commercial partnerships with a strong outward-looking and international orientation:

  • Businesses, including startups, small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs), and mid-cap companies
  • Investors, such as Venture Capital funds, Business Angels, large corporates, family offices, and banks
  • Support mechanisms, including incubators and accelerators

To date, the EuroQuity network comprises more than 16,000 companies, with over 100 Greek entities already participating. This represents a unique opportunity for InnoAgora members to develop synergies with a broad range of ecosystem stakeholders at an international level. EuroQuity also offers the capability to host webinars and e-pitching sessions, while approximately €500 million has been invested through the platform to date. In addition, it provides access to international matchmaking events, e-certifications, and business acceleration programs.

Through this HDB initiative, selected Greek companies and organizations are given the opportunity to create an online profile to showcase their unique competitive advantages to potential investors and partners.

HDB has already established collaborations with Greek industry and collective bodies to build a dynamic network of Greek enterprises participating in InnoAgora.

The Chairwoman and CEO of HDB, Ms. Athina Hatzipetrou, stated:
“As a key facilitator of business connectivity, HDB pioneers and strengthens its role as a coordinator in the creation of innovation ecosystems in Greece through the InnoAgora platform—an outward-looking network of companies and organizations.”

The Vice Chairman of HDB, Mr. Pantelis Tzortzakis, added:
“We invite all interested entrepreneurs to join this dynamic community, which will enhance their competitiveness and international reach while adding value to their businesses.”
