The Proof-of-Concept (PoC) for Emerging Technologies is a structured 10-month program designed to mature research results and test innovative technological solutions under real-world conditions.

Through funding, advisory support, mentoring, and market connection, the program bridges the gap between research and market deployment, creating the conditions for the development of sustainable solutions with measurable social and economic impact.

“Emerging technologies” refer to highly innovative technological solutions with strong potential for application in new or rapidly evolving markets, regardless of sector.

The program is addressed to teams from Greek Higher Education Institutions and Research Centers, specifically:

  • Research teams developing innovative technological solutions within the framework of their research activity.
  • Existing or under-formation spin-offs that leverage research results to develop technological products or services.
