The Hellenic Development Bank (HDB) and Envolve Entrepreneurship have signed a Memorandum of Cooperation aimed at strengthening Greece’s innovation ecosystem, connecting startups and growing businesses with business networks and growth opportunities, and raising awareness of HDB’s available financial and non-financial support tools.
The Memorandum was signed by Ismini Papakyrillou, Chief Executive Officer of HDB, and Alexandros Nousias, Managing Director of Envolve Entrepreneurship.
A key pillar of the cooperation is the connection of Envolve Entrepreneurship with HDB’s InnoAgora digital networking platform, with the aim of expanding networking opportunities, facilitating knowledge exchange, and highlighting business opportunities. Through the networks of both organizations, selected startups, scale-ups, and innovative solutions will be promoted, strengthening their visibility and access to a broader business ecosystem.
In parallel, the cooperation provides for joint initiatives to map the needs and challenges of the innovation ecosystem. In this context, the two organizations will explore opportunities to develop synergies that will help connect innovation with business needs.
Particular emphasis will be placed on the implementation of joint educational and informational activities, including webinars, workshops, and thematic events focusing on business innovation, financing, digital transformation, ESG criteria, and the green transition. The cooperation also includes the possibility of organizing competitions and initiatives to showcase and reward innovative business teams and founders, as well as providing mutual communication support for the activities of both organizations.
Through this cooperation, the Hellenic Development Bank is expanding its partnerships with stakeholders across the innovation ecosystem, strengthening Greek businesses’ access to information, networking opportunities, knowledge, and growth prospects.
